At The Angela Grace, Valentine’s Day signifies love and we believe that everyone deserves to be loved, regardless of their age.
That’s why we host a special Valentine’s Day pop up restaurant. We transformed the activities centre into a restaurant for the day with decoration and music and invited relatives and friends to dine with their loved ones. Being a Friday, the chef prepared fish n chips or baked salmon and our wellbeing and activities team were waiters and waitresses for the day.
And for residents who either cannot leave their rooms or prefer to dine with extra privacy, we also made sure that they were included in this special day too.
Following lunch, everyone enjoyed live music by singer, Josh, who sang a variety of love songs.
Here is just some of the feedback from relatives who joined us for the celebration:
“It was quite a surprise and lovely setting you created…”
“All the effort that went into it was greatly appreciated…”
Due to the popularity of the event, we have decided that we will be opening our pop up restaurant every year on Valentine’s Day.
